Shelly Ronen

PhD candidate, Sociology, New York University

Shelly Ronen is a PhD candidate in sociology at New York University studying technology, gender, sexuality and culture. Her research resides at the intersection of several literatures: economic sociology, science and technology studies (STS) and feminist sociology. Shelly received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program in 2011. While at NYU she has been a graduate assistant at the Institute for Public Knowledge, and a member of the Fembot Collective.
